Cnut (1016‑1035) Penny, pointed helmet type (1024‑30), BMC type XIV, Chichester mint, moneyer Aethelm. Helmeted bust right, sceptre before. Rev, voided short cross, extending from two circles with a pellet, broken annulet in each angle, legend reads +aegelm on cicestr:, 1.05gm (S. 1158; N. 787). Peck marks, edge rim split at one o’clock, otherwise Good Very Fine.
