Canute (1016-35), helmet type Penny (1024-30), Thurstan of Stamford Mint, helmeted bust left with sceptre to edge of coin, linear circle surrounding, legend commences at top, +CNVT R EX ΛNGL rev. short voided cross with pellet and annulet centre, pellets in annulet in each angle, all within linear circle, +ÐVRSTΛN ON ST. Λn 0.98g. (N.787; S.1158).

Toned, a little verdigris on reverse rim, nice portrait, good very fine
