Constantius II (AD 337-361).

Gold Solidus, mint of Nicomedia, AD 351-355.

Obverse: FL IVL CONSTANTIVS PERP AVG, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Constantius facing, holding spear and shield decorated with horseman motif.
Reverse: GLORIA REI-PVBLICAE, Roma (left) and Constantinopolis (right), both holding a shield inscribed ‘VOT / XXX / MVLT / XXXX, SMNT in exergue.
