Crimea Medal, 1854-55, one clasp, Sebastopol. Attributed to George Gill, 42nd Regiment, Sent Home unfit 14th of October 1854 from the Hospital at Scutari. (G. Gill) privately engraved, toned very fine.

Sold with copy Service papers for George Gill who enlisted into the 3rd Regiment of Foot on the 21st of February 1852 at Bedford, transferring to the 42nd on the 26th of January 1855. He was Discharged 27th of February 1855 being found unfit for further service due to swollen glands in the neck. The Medal Roll States Sent Home 14th of October 1854 from Scutari.
