Gold Aureus, mint of Rome, struck under Marcus Aurelius and Lucius Verus, c. AD 161.
Obverse: DIVVS ANTONINVS, bareheaded bust of Antoninus Pius facing right.
Reverse: CONSECRATIO, funeral pyre with four tiers, topped with the statue of a quadriga.
Good Very Fine. Lustrous metal.
