Eadgar (959-975), Penny, Two-line type, moneyer Grith, small cross pattée within inner linear circle, legend surrounding, + EADGAR REX, two pellets either side of second A in Kings name. Rev, three cross pattées across centre, moneyer name in two lines, trio of pellets above and below, GRID / NONE, 1.40g (S.1129; N.741 HT NE V; CTCE. 47). Near very fine.
