Early Anglo-Saxon, Primary phase (c.680-710), Series BI, Type 85, Sceat, diademed bust right with
crescent ear and pellet lips, ouroboros both sides acting as linear circles. Rev, bird above plain cross,
flanked by annulets, group of five pellet symbols by bird, 1.14g (S.777; N.125; Abramson 16-40).

Cabinet tone with clear surfaces and fields, crisp detail on both sides with only the slightest wear in the reverse die,
near extremely fine.
