Early Anglo-Saxon, Secondary phase (c.710-60), Series J, Type 85, Sceat, diademed bust right with crescent ear and pellet lips, ouroboros both sides acting as linear circles. Rev, bird above plain cross, flanked by annulets, 1.16g (S.802; N.126; Abramson 18-20). Dark cabinet tone with clear surfaces and fields, crisp detail on both sides, near extremely fine.
