Description
Edward IV (First Reign, 1461-1470), Gold Ryal. Bristol mint, mm. crown (1464-1470). King crowned, standing in ship holding sword and shield, B in waves below, Rev. Ornate cross fleury, crowned leopards in angles, large fleurs in spandrels. (Schneider I, – [cf. 419]; Blunt & Whitton VI, variety 1; N. 1550; S. 1953). Bold Good Very Fine, some parts better, small edge chip in strike.
