Edward the Confessor (1042-1066), Penny, small flan type (1048-50), London Mint, Moneyer Leofnoth, diademed bust left, legend commences at top, +EDPAR D R., rev voided cross with pellet centre, +L.EOFNO:Đ ON L, 0.76g (Freeman 834; BMC type II; N.818; S.1175).

Toned, very fine and extremely rare, Freeman only records three examples all in museum collections.
