Edward VI (1547‐1553), Gold Halfcrown, Second Period (1549‐50), Southwark mint, mm. Y. Crowned bust right, Rev. Crowned and garnished shield, 1.38g/2h. (North 1916; S. 2444; Schn. ‐). Very Fine. Edge slightly irregular at 11h, with some wave to flan. An extremely rare denomination of Edward VI, seldom turning up.
