Edward VI (1547-1553), Silver Groat, First Period, Southwark mint, mm. -/E on Rev. (1547-8). Crowned bust right, Rev. Square-topped shield over long cross fourchée, 2.19g/12h. (N. 1872; S. 2456). Extremely Fine for issue, portrait especially pleasing. Flan a little ragged. Extremely rare, especially so in such a high grade.
