Edward VII (1901-10), 1902, Five-pounds, currency issue, bare head right, by G.W. de Saulles, legend surrounds EDWARDVS VII DEI GRA BRITT OMN REX FID DEF IND IMP. Rev, St. George and dragon, date below exergue (S.3965; Fr. 398a).

About uncirculated, some trivial hairlines and a couple of nicks, portrait well struck up especially as a currency issue, as opposed to the more common and frequently encountered matt proof. Underlying mint bloom.
