Elizabeth I (1558-1603), Sixpence, milled coinage by Mestrelle, 1562, mm. star, Bust B, tall narrow bust with plain dress, legend surrounds ELIZABETH DG ANG FRA ET HIB REGINA. Rev, square topped quartered shield of arms over long cross fourchée, date either side, reads POSVI DEVM AD IVTORE, 2.89g (S.2594; N.2025/2).

Lightly toned, some light hairlines, portrait comprehensive, flat in places, legends legible. Reverse, well struck. Good fine.
