France, Charles V (1364-1380), gold Franc à pied, Paris mint, struck from 20 April 1365 AD, KAROLVS ˣ DI ˣ GR FRAИCORV ˣ RЄX, King standing facing within Gothic arch, holding sword with annulet pommel and Main de Justice; semé of seven lis to left and right. Rev. ✠ XPC ∗ VIHCIT ∗ XPC ∗ RЄGHAT ∗ XPC ∗ IMPЄRAT, cross tréflée, pellet within angled quadrilobed at centre, cantoned with lis in first and fourth quarters, crown in second and third; all within angled quadrilobe, lis in spandrels, 3.77g (Grier. 331; Dupl. 360; Ci. 457; Fr. 284.).

Uncirculated, previously NGC graded MS 62 (4841476-005).
