George I (1714-1727), Halfcrown, 1723 SSC, South Sea Company, laureate and draped bust facing right, legend reads GEORGIVS.D.G.M.BR.FR.ET.HIB.REX.F.F, toothed border both sides. Rev, crowned cruciform shields, seven strings to Irish harp, garter Star at centre, SS : C in angles, date either side of crown, legend reads BRVN. ET. L. DVX. ET. S. R .I. A : TH ET. EL 17 23. (ESC 592; Bull.1557; S.3643).

Virtually mint state attractively toned.
