Rev, crowned quartered shield of arms, Order of the Garter motto in French surrounding, .HONI . SOIT. QUI. MAL . Y. PENSE, outer legend reads BRITANNIARUM REX FID DEF (S.3789; Bull 2099; ESC.621). Iridescent toned, few nicks and unobtrusive contact marks, field die breaks. Extremely fine, bold reverse.
