George II (1727-60), Crown, 1741, young laureate and draped bust left, toothed border surrounding both sides, legend commences GEORGIVS II DEI GRATIA. Rev, crowned cruciform shields, eight strings to Irish harp, garter star at centre, roses struck in angles, date flanking top crown, legend reads M.B.F.ET. H.REX. F.D.B. ET.L.D.S.R.I A.T ET.E., edge inscription DECVS ET TVTAMEN ANNO REGNI DECIMO QVARTO (S.3687; ESC. 123; Bull 1666). Extremely fine or better, toned.
