Description

George II (1727-60), Guinea, 1733, second young laureate head left, legend GEORGIVS II DEI GRATIA. Rev, crowned quartered shield of arms, date flanking crown, legend M.B.F.ET.H. REX. F.D.B. ET.L.D.S.R.I.A.T ET.E. (S.3674; EGC 591; MCE.309).

Rich gold tone, small metal flaw between the G and R of Gratia, otherwise showing some nice detail in the portrait, reverse shield comprehensive. Some die flaws on the truncation and the usual contact marks. Good very fine.
