George III (1760‐1820) ‘Cartwheel’ Penny, 1797.Laureate and draped bust right, 11 leaves to wreath, legend incuse on raised rim surrounding on both sides. Rev, Britannia seated left, with olive branch trident and shield, ship sailing right on left horizon, SOHO on rock to right, waves below, date on raised rim below, edge plain (S. 3777; BMC 1133A). About uncirculated slight original red brilliance, some toning.
