George III (1760-1820), Bank Token of Eighteenpence, 1812, first laureate head right, legend surrounds GEORGIUS III DEI GRATIA REX. Rev, denomination and date in four lines surrounded by oak wreath (S.3771; Bull 2114; ESC 971).

Deep mottled toning with some flecking, under closer inspection a very well detailed strike. Reverse, lightly toned, minimal surface markings, the odd toning streak. Extremely fine.
