George III (1760-1820), silver Crown, 1820 LX, 2 struck over 1 in date, laureate head right, PISTRUCCI below on truncation, date below rev St George slaying the dragon, PISTRUCCI below groundline, Garter surrounding, edge inscribed in raised letters and dated LX (ESC.220A R3; Davies 12; S.3787).
Attractively toned, quite mottled on reverse, a few nicks on neck otherwise good extremely fine and rare.
