Germany, Anhalt-Schaumburg, Carl Ludwig (1772-1806), silver Convention Taler, 1774, Frankfurt, 23.39g (Dav. 1907; Mann 846; Müseler 1.4/1).

Uncirculated, deep cabinet tone.

Silver for this coin comes from the Holzappel mine, as stated on its reverse. In 1774, Holzappel yield resulted in production of silver Talers and Half Talers. The mining company expanded and modernized over the following decades.
