R.F.A.), Meritorious Service Medal, GVR, (2795 T.S. Mjr C. Neve. R.F.A.), contemporarily mounted for wear, toned fine.
Temporary Warrant Officer Class 1 Charles Neve landed in France with 29 Brigade Royal field Artillery on the 23rd August 1914, he was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal “in recognition of valuable service rendered with the Armies in France and Flanders” in the London Gazette of the 3rd June 1919, he was discharged from the Army on the 14th June 1919.
