Henry VI (First Reign, 1422-1461), Gold Noble, Annulet Issue (1422-c. 1430), Tower (London) mint, mm. lis.King crowned, with sword and shield, standing facing in ship, annulet by sword arm, Rev. Lombardic H at the centre of floriated cross, terminals ending in lis, crown over lion over trefoil in each angle, within beaded and linear tressures of eight arcs, fleurs and one annulet in spandrels, 6.87g/6h. (N. 1414; S. 1799). Extremely Fine, pleasing.
