Calais issue, facing crowned bust, annulet each side of neck, within double tressure of nine arcs, initial mark incurved pierced cross (1422-27), legend surounds +hEnRIC’x DI’x GRA’x REX’x AnGL’x Z’ FRAnC’, Rev, long cross pattee, tri-pellets in each inner angle, rosette and saltire stops, inner legend VIL LAxx CALI SIE*, outer legend initial mark plain cross, +POSVI* DEVmxx A DIVTOR E’x mEVm, 3.82g (N.1427/1446; S.1836/1859). Good very fine for issue, a well struck example of this mule variety on a full flan with clear distinct legends. £325
