Henry VIII (1509-1547), silver Testoon, third coinage (1544-7), Southwark Mint, debased issue, facing bust of older King within beaded circle, cross on crown breaks circle, initial mark pellet in annulet both sides, 8 type legend, initial mark E obverse only, rev crown over Tudor Rose, crowned h to left and crowned R to right, slipped trefoil stops both sides, 7.50g (N.1842; S.2367).

Weakly struck in parts both sides as usual, some light hairline scratches both sides, some light Verdigris, otherwise very fine for issue, a pleasing coin and rare.
