Ipswich, James Conder (leather‑cutter, linen‑draper), an impression in white‑metal of the obv. of Milton’s first Penny, bust left of Cardinal Wolsey, 35mm/12.17gm. (DH 8). Usual extended late‑stage die flaw and M [for Milton?] scratched on the back, weak definition in face but very fine and as made and excessively rare.
