Italy, Venice, Nicolò Sagredo (1675-1676), silver Osella, 1675, St. Mark enthroned, blessing with the right and holding with the left hand the banner surmounted by a cross to the kneeling Doge; in the exergue GD (Giulio Donà). Rev. ÆQVA TEMPERAT ARTE, globe surmounted by five stars, above which can be seen a part of the Zodiac with Virgo, Libra and Scorpio; above, four stars; in the exergue ANNO I (Paol. 158; Gam. 972). In PCGS holder graded AU Details – Bent (51161538). Slightly bent flan, however, the coin is Good Extremely Fine condition with beautiful toning across surfaces and sharp details. A rare Osella of a Doge that ruled for a very brief time.
