Italy, Venice, Paolo Renier (1779-1789), silver Osella, 1784, Murano, PAVL RAINER DUX VENET MVNVS COMVNIT MVRIANI around, G SANTINI CAM ANT BALBI P within, large rooster of Murano with a serpent in his beak and a fox on his back, above the arms of the Podestà and the Camerlengo surmounted by that of the Doge. Rev. ANTONIO MOTTA GIO RAVANELO DOM COLONNA ANT NICHETTO around, standard surmounted by a bucranium from which descend festoons with the four coats of arms of the Deputies, in ex. FV ERET within cartouche, year below, 9.83g (Paol. II 600).

Good Extremely Fine or better, extremely rare. One of the finest examples of this coin that has ever come to the market, possibly the finest known.
