James I (1603-25), Third Coinage (1619-25), Quarter-Laurel, fourth laureate bust left, ties form a bracket shape around value behind, mint mark trefoil (1624) and beaded inner circle both sides, rev. crowned quartered shield of arms on long cross fourchee, legend ends iaco 2.21gms (cf.Schneider 100; N.2119; S.2642B).

Two flan splits in legend, otherwise with an excellent portrait, good VF,
