Description

James II (1685-88), Halfcrown, 1686, first laureate and draped bust right. Rev. Crowned cruciform emblematic shields, garter star at centre, date either side of English shield, edge inscribed SECVNDO (ESC.494; S.3408).

Very light flecking both sides, toned with underlying brilliance , minute flan crack on edge, otherwise extremely fine with good hair detail.
