Japan, Manen Era (1860-1867), gold Koban, fan-shaped Kiri crest at the top and bottom, with two Japanese characters in panel below with value, with characters in the second panel for the mint official. Rev. Seal stamps, 3.32g (JNDA 09-23; Fr. 17; KM C22d).

Very Fine or better. Accompanied by JNDA certificate.

The Manen Era Kobans were the last of the gold Kobans, minted in smaller size than their predecessors.
