Kingdom of Macedon, Alexander the Great (336-323 BC) Silver Tetradrachm, posthumous issue, Amphipolis, c. 307-297 BC, 17.18g. Obverse: Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Reverse: AΛEΞANΔPOY Zeus seated left on low throne, holding long scepter in his left hand and eagle standing right with closed wings in his right; to left, Λ above torch; below throne, monogram of MHΓ.
