AR Tetradrachm, mint of Amphipolis, c. 323-281 BC.

Obverse: Head of the deified Alexander the Great facing right, wearing the horn of Ammon.
Reverse: ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ – ΛΥΣΙΜΑXΟΥ, Athena enthroned left, holding Nike, shield decorated with Medusa’s head resting against base of throne, spear resting behind, caduceus in left field, monogram in left right field.

Extremely Fine. Some remaining lustre in places.
