Silver Tetradrachm, mint of Lysimacheia, c. mid 3rd Century BC.
Obverse: Head of the deified Alexander the Great facing right, wearing the horn of Ammon.
Reverse: ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ – ΛΥΣΙΜΑXΟΥ, Athena enthroned left, holding Nike, shield decorated with Medusa’s head resting against base of throne, spear resting behind; monogram in left field, K in exergue.
