Macedon, Under Roman Rule (c. 167-149 BC).

Silver Tetradrachm, mint of Amphipolis.

Obverse: Diademed and draped bust of Artemis facing right, bow and quiver over shoulder, in the centre of a Macedonian shield.
Reverse: Horizontal club, AP monogram above, all within an oak wreath, thunderbolt to left.
