Great Britain, Middlesex, High Holborn, Mule Copper London Halfpenny Trade Token, dated 1791, by John Skidmore (c.1748-1823, furnisher and stove-plate maker with businesses in Clerkenwell and High Holborn), obverse: register stove, “No.123 HIGH HOLBORN LONDON” around square edges, PAYABLE AT SKIDMORES FURNISHING REPOSITORY around in outside border, reverse: large anchor and cable, M. PINTOSH HORSHAM around, date below, edge SKIDMORE HOLBORN LONDON, diam. 28mm (Dalton & Hamer 483).

Nearly mint state, bronzed with attractive fields, tiny spot in reverse field, very rare.
