An extremely rare Nasrid Dinar of Muhammad VIII of Granada. He was the 14th Nasrid ruler and initially rose to power as a Sultan of Granada at the approximate age of six. The powerful Banū Sarrāj family quickly deposed and replaced him with Muhammad IX. His later return to power was again quickly cut short at the hands of Muhammad IX, who allegedly executed him. His gold Dinars are extremely rare finds, especially in such fantastic condition.
