Iceni, Ecen (c. AD 10-43) Silver Unit, ‘Ecen Stepping Horse’ type, 0.99g. Obverse: Double crescents back-to-back with two pellets between, and lines and rows of pellets extending outwards. Reverse: Horse rearing right, with grain ear mane, ECE below and pelletal sun above. (ABC 1660; Van Ardsell 760). Very Fine.
