Description
Richard II (1377‑99), Noble, Calais, type IIIa, French title resumed, m.m. cross pattée, king standing facing in ship holding sword and shield, pennant on stern, rev. floriate cross extending from a central panel containing a letter r crowned leopard in each angle (N.1308; S.1662). A superbly struck example which has been very conservatively graded by NGC as MS62.
