Description
Richard II (1377-99), Groat, Type Ia, London, mm. cross pattée, bust and lettering as on coins of Edward III, double saltire stops both sides, no pellet over crown, copula before francie. Rev, long cross, three pellets in angles, reverse barred Ns in London, a contraction mark above second N, 4.55g (N.1320a; S.1678; Stewartby p261- I).
Very rare, good fine to very fine.
