Clamant James Lamb joined the Royal Navy for 12 years on the 2nd of August 1911, During the Great War he served aboard Marine Farine Fleet Auxiliary Lunka, 1916-1917. He received his LS&GC on the 20th of October 1926 whilst serving aboard H.M.S. Vernon.
He was Discharged Dead on the 1st of September 1927, his papers state of natural causes.
