James II (1437-1460), Lion of ten shillings, second coinage, second issue, type II. Edinburgh mint, im crown, struck 1451-1460, crowned coat-of-arms; lis flanking. Rev, Saint Andrew crucified on short cross saltire, crowned lis flanking. Burns 3 (fig. 525); SCBI 35 (Ashmolean & Hunterian) 688 (same dies); SCBC 5222 [misattributed in slab as S.5221], 3.41g.

Encapsulated and graded as AU 58, about extremely fine for issue, rare.
