Sicily, Syracuse, Deinomenid Tyranny.

Silver Tetradrachm, c. 480-475 BC.

Obverse: Charioteer driving slow quadriga right, holding kentron and reins. Nike flying right crowning the horses.
Reverse: ΣVPAK – OΣI – O – N, head of Arethusa facing right, four dolphins around.

Lightly toned, Attractive style. A very well struck and brilliantly centred example.
