Special Constabulary Long Service and Good Conduct Medal awarded to Commander Harold Herman John Baring, Metropolitan Special Constabulary, who was awarded the M.B.E. in 1920, comprising Special Constabulary Long Service and Good Conduct Medal , GVR, with The Great War 1914-1918 clasp, (Comdr Harold H.J. Baring. M.B.E.), mounted on pin for wear, toned very fine.

Harold Herman John Baring was born on the 4th of March 1869, in St Jame’s London. He was the son of the Hon. Thomas Charles Baring M.P. and Susan Carter baring. He died on the 10th of December 1927 aged 58 at High Beach, Loughton, Essex.
