Sweden, Charles Tottie (1703-1776), Firefighting, 1777, Silver Medal (43mm/49.16gm) by C. J. Wikman. Bust of Tottie right. Rev. Portrait of a fortified building with portico in centre (Hildebrand p. 181; Hy I:244:1).

Tottie was a Swedish-Scottish merchant and founder of the Stockholm City Fire Insurance Office. This medal was minted by the Office in Stockholm and awarded for special performance in fighting fires. An unusually heavy example. Extremely Fine with remnants of lustre.
