ΗΡΑΚΛΕΟVΣ / ΣΩΤΗΡΟΣ / ΘΑΣΙΩΝ, Herakles standing facing, head left, holding club and with lionskin draped over left arm. (HGC 6, 359; SNG Copenhagen 1039). Good Very Fine. Attractive cabinet tone. Struck on a very large flan and from unusually fine dies in the often stylistically debased series.
