Description
GSW Chest – Small Entry Scar over of 4th rib, the bullet is in the abdomen, probably in the Liver. Gun Shot Wound Received in a Raid on the 21st December 1917. He was subsequently wounded on the 6th of January 1918, Gun Shot Wound Chest a Rifle Bullet Wound. He had previously been wounded by a Gun Shot Wound Right Shoulder. 28th October 1916, He was Discharged as a Result of Wounds, on the 18th of March 1918 and awarded a Silver War Badge.

Fred Lucas enlisted for the Rifle Brigade on the 27th of May 1915 at Chelsea Town Hall, 21 year old School Teacher from Battersea. He landed in France on the 14th of September 1916, wounded three times in Action he was finally discharged due to wounds on the 18th of March 1918.
