The British War Medal awarded to Private Charles Henry Booth 2nd West Riding Field Ambulance (T.F.) Royal Army Medical Corps (271 Pte. C.H. Booth. R.A.M.C.) toned very fine
Charles Henry Booth a native of Bradford attested for the 2nd West Riding Field ambulance Territorial Force Royal Army Medical Corps on the 2th of September 1914, stating that he had previously served with the 6th Battalion west Yorkshire Regiment T.F.. He served with the Expeditionary Force in France from the 10th of January 1917 to the 4th of June 1917 when he was invalided home with an Ophthalmic Goitre. He was discharged on the 4th of September 1917 and was issued Silver War Badge.
